Meet Dr. Makayla Penner

Hi! I'm Dr. Penner. My love for children began in my family's daycare, where I found joy in everything from the nursery to the playground. Today, as a pediatrician and a mother of three, I care for every patient as I would my own. A lifelong Texan, I earned my medical degree at Texas A&M and completed my residency at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center, where I served as chief resident. I love building lasting relationships with families and watching my patients grow. Outside the clinic, I enjoy Disney cruises, getting lost in a good book and spending time with my family. I look forward to caring for your children for years to come!
